To be fair, Narrator。 did。warn us.。
A few episodes ago, Narrator told us that this season one of six characters (Rafael, Petra, Luisa, Alba, Anezka, or Magda) would die. It's the oldest trick in the book, after all. 。
Well friends, Friday's episode ended with Petra discovering her evil(。Well friends, Friday's episode ended with Petra discovering her evil( 。ish 。
) twin sister Anezka, dead, hanging from the ceiling, and a tease from Narrator: She didn't kill herself. 。
Gasp! 。SEE ALSO:Read an excerpt from 'Jane the Virgin' companion novel 'Snow Falling' — but be prepared to cry。
This is devastating news for those of us who love to watch Yael Grobglas continue to impress by hilariously portraying both twins, but from a storytelling perspective, it certainly makes sense: You can only pull the old switcharoo so many times. I'm excited to see how this plot unfolds, and what mayhem at the Marbella ensues because of it. (Seriously, how many murders does it take to shut down a hotel?!!)。
So: Who the heck killed her?
The easy answer -- especially with Luisa still trapped in a mental hospital -- is Petra and Anezka's mother, Magda. She's known to get scrappy, and the next few episodes may revolve around Petra attempting to prove it. And of course we can't count out Carl. He's clearly up to no good. 。But my big, go-for-broke, so-crazy-it-just-might-work theory is that Anezka's real killer is..。But my big, go-for-broke, so-crazy-it-just-might-work theory is that Anezka's real killer is..。

Stick with me here. The only proof we've received that he's dead are A.) A body that we assume is his because it was found with his work vest and nametag and B.) No one has seen him for a while and C.) Eileen said she killed him. (Narrator 。

confirm, but he's misled us for the good of the story before.)。 What if Scott staged his own death with help from Rose, who is currently still in prison but has got to be working on some kind of elaborate escape?Let's go to the evidence.。
1. My spidey senses first started tingling that someone would be returning from the presumed dead early in Friday's episode, when Jane was watching an unnamed soap at home and explains to her mom that the characters' switching identities would be used as leverage later, "when Raul reveals he's not actually dead!" "Classic," Xo replies.。" "Classic," Xo replies. 。

our。 telenovela. 。2. Scott was reintroduced in this past episode, with Anezka praying/talking to him. Could this be the writers' subtle way of reminding you that he exists because they're going to bring him back in an episode or two? 3. Scott is still married to Anezka, so finding out she has recently become a majority owner of the hotel would be the perfect time to kill her and have those shares go to him. As cops say sometimes on shows I watch: This establishes motive.。4.。
4. 。 Jane the Virgin。 loves to send up a trope. A classic of the genre is someone passionately declaring, "I thought you were dead!" It's about time。
Jane。 took the death twist for a spin.。5. Remember earlier this season when Rose strangled that guy in prison to death? We definitely don't know the whole story there yet, and it's about time that mystery was revealed. I don't know。
I fully admit that this theory is a。
