Razer's ridiculous "Project Valerie," with its three screens and glorious 12K resolution, stole the show at CES 2017, so much so it was literally stolen after the show.

Inspired by the mobile command center concept, YouTuber "JerryRigEverything," who is known for torturingstress-testing gadgets for the internet's entertainment, decided to build his very own instead of waiting for Razer to commercialize it.

The hacked together triple-screen laptop sure as hell isn't pretty — just look at all those ugly hinges used to bolt the two displays to the Toshiba laptop — but it's functional.

The build requires no teardowns and is easy enough for a kid to handle. JerryRigEverything used two AOC USB-powered 16-inch displays (about $100 each), a couple of door hinges and epoxy to hold everything together.

It's an impressive monstrosity, and while it sorta resembles Project Valerie, it's nowhere near as capable. The screens aren't 4K (only 1,366 x 768) and JerryRigEverything says it's not powerful enough to do any real gaming.

Still, as a DIY project, we can't help but be amazed. Especially when he whips it out on a tiny airplane tray table like a boss:
