I wonder if, at this point, airplane passengers are more afraid of turbulence or being assaulted by an airport/airline employee.

The latest example of passengers under attack by the air carrier they've paid to provide a service takes us to Nice, France, where an employee appears to have punched a man holding a baby while he was trying to board an EasyJet flight to London on Saturday.

The woman who took the photo tweeted that the man in white worked for EasyJet. But EasyJet's press team tweeted that he's actually employed by Samsic, a business contracted by the airport to help with passengers in need of extra assistance.

The flight was significantly delayed, and passengers complained that EasyJet wasn't giving them much information about why, or when they might get off the ground. The victim was reportedly talking to his eventual attacker, who reportedly "smirked" at him before the apparent assault.

Both men got taken away from the area, but the man holding the baby made it on board, to a reported round of applause.

According to FlightAware, the flight did make it to London, but only after being delayed for more than half a day.
